About Viki

Established in 2006, Kingston Sea Kayak Instruction is committed to providing a positive and enjoyable outdoor experience as well as promoting the sport of sea kayaking in Saskatchewan.

Viki first sat in a kayak at the age of 12 during a demonstration by the Flatwater Racing Canoe Club. The coaches encouraged her to come out and try the sport competitively, which didn’t take much convincing. A rewarding racing career dominated the next 7 years of her life, competing both provincially and nationally. During that time she started kayak instruction by coaching flatwater racers throughout the province later followed by beginner adult instruction with Eb’s Source for Adventure. In 2006, Viki became an Accredited Instructor with Paddle Canada and began developing her company to date. Every good business starts with a good business name. Kingston was the perfect paddling partner for the 4 years he was in her life. Most people remember him running on the riverbank of the South Saskatchewan, carrying the biggest log he could fit into his mouth, while Viki paddled along.

Kingston Sea Kayak Instruction continues to grow building confidence in beginners, enhancing skills in experienced paddlers and offering a group environment for skill development where paddlers can meet and learn from each other.
